Portrait of Pamela Krueger
Founder

Pamela Krueger, MA

LMFT · LMHC · REAT · RYT

Pamela came to counseling psychology after personal loss — finding her way through, in part, with creative writing. That experience anchors how she sits with others: with patience for the slow work of meaning-making, and respect for the creative forms it asks for.

She is a registered expressive arts therapist (REAT) and a registered yoga teacher (RYT), and is dual-licensed as a Marriage & Family Therapist (LMFT) and a Mental Health Counselor (LMHC). She works with individuals, couples, and families of all ages.

Pamela practices cultural humility, honors each person's expertise in themselves, and moves at the speed of trust. Her clinical roots are phenomenological, relational-cultural, multicultural-feminist, and integrally informed.

The Expressive Arts Philosophy

Multimodal, intermodal, and led by the person in the room.

For clients who want it, expressive arts is one of several ways we work — never a requirement. The approach trusts that creative process is itself a way of knowing. We move between modes — never as performance — to let what's true find its form.

Visual & metaphorical

Color, image, and form as language for what's hard to say.

Poetic prose & journaling

Writing as a way through — finding voice, shaping meaning.

Sound & rhythm

Vocal expression, music, and the body's natural cadence.

Dramatic arts & serious play

Role, story, and imagination as places to rehearse and release.

Embodied movement

Trauma-informed practices that include the wisdom of the body.
